So it was, whenever the ark set out, that Moses said: “Rise up, O LORD! Let Your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.” And when it rested, he said: “Return, O LORD, To the many thousands of Israel.”— Numbers 10:35-36 NKJV
The ark is the Ark of the Testimony. As I have written before, this is the container that held the items which were things that testified of G-d. The Ten Commandments, G-d’s Word, Aarons staff, G-d’s Power, and the Omer of Manna, G-d’s Provision.
As stated in these verses, whenever the ark set out, Moses would say “Rise up O YHVH! Let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee before You.” Our testimony is the most powerful thing we can offer this dark world that so desperately needs the Light, for G-d is the Testimony. The ark was always going before the Israelites. The Testimony of G-d should always be going out before us. It is the Testimony of G-d that will make His enemies scatter and those that hate Him flee.
When it was time for the Israelites to stop and stay somewhere, Moses would say, “Return O YHVH, to the many thousands of Israel.” It is important that we always remember G-d and who He is in our life and that He remains to be in our life. We must always remember the testimony that He has given to us, from the time we get up to the time we lay down and rest.
As we set out for the day, we need to be intentional about having G-d go before us. He is the reason we live, He is who sustains us, He is our protector and provider. He is the one that has provided us our testimony of Him. We need to have His Testimony at the forefront of our mind before we start the day.
As we lay down for the evening, wherever the L-RD has us lay our head for that night, we need to be intentional about having G-d with us then as well. We need to reflect on what G-d has done for us throughout the day, as well as in the past. We need to rest and reflect on His Testimony and what we have witnessed throughout the day.
As we practice this daily, we will be strengthen in our relationship with the L-RD because we have purposed in our heart to remember the things the L-RD has done for us and is also currently doing through us.
Dear L-RD, go out before me and lead me with Your Holy Spirit. Provide Your divine appointments to provide Your Testimony in my life. Please help me remember Your Word that I have cherished in my heart. Please help me remember Your Power that you demonstrate in my life. Please help me remember Your Provision in my life, providing for all of my needs, so that I will not be wanting of anything. Help me testify of these things so that Your enemies will be scattered and may many come to You who hear of Your wonderful works in my life. Strengthen me that I will have the courage to stand for You, even in the most difficult of times. Help me to remember who You are and the promises You have given to me. In the Precious Name the Messiah, my Redeemer, Jesus, I pray Amen.
Dear L-RD, thank you for today and all that you have provided. Thank you for the divine moments that I was able to share about Your Testimony through me. Thank you for all that You have done and are doing in my life. Thank you for all that You are going to do. Thank you for continuing to reveal to me the things I must change and thank you for what You have already changed, even today. May You replenish me this evening as I rest to be ready for tomorrow. May You strengthen me to make the changes in my life that are necessary for sanctification. Please help me remember these wonderful things of Your Testimony in my life. Dear L-RD, rest with me here this evening. Thank You.
In the Precious Name the Messiah, my Redeemer, Jesus, I pray Amen.
