Self-Examination Challenge

No need to reply to these questions.

Do we really honor G-d in ALL that we do?
Is our life a reflection of what G-d has done with our heart?
Have we really given EVERYTHING over to G-d?
Is our life one that can be recognized as one that is with pure conviction with 100% obedience to G-d and loving every moment of it?
Are we TRULY seeking G-d in every part of our life?
How much time are we studying His Word to understand Him?
How much time are we spending in talking with Him and LISTENING?

I know that I need to work in all of these areas. To G-d be the Glory in the changes He has already done. I look forward to the changes that are to come.

FAITHbook or facebook?

When you get up in the morning, which do you read first?

Let me be the first to say that I have been guilty of this myself. As a believer in the L-RD, we sometimes get lax in our faith. It is very easy to get caught up in the daily buzz of social media to find out what is happening it people’s lives or to see what they are sharing.

Consider this. The L-RD has made numerous “posts” for us to read. They are written with us in mind. In these “posts” we find out more about ourselves and what we lack. They bring clarity in our lives where there are so many things that cloud our vision with the constant distraction of ‘new’ and ‘updated’ along with empty news and reports of peril and calamity.

Our L-RD has “posted” writings that give us hope, encouragement, understanding, knowledge, wisdom, correction for our wayward lives, truth and the promise of salvation if we choose to believe in Him and follow Him.

The question really becomes, what is more important in our lives? Seeking knowledge and wisdom from the One who Loves us unconditionally or from a world that is self seeking?

Start the day right by putting G-d first and spending time with Him. It changes our perspective of the day and what happens in it. It also changes the outcome of many circumstances because we first sought out counsel from G-d.

Let us not forget that Jesus came and first lived among us and shared in our trials of this world. He showed us how to live a righteous life and continued to point to G-d. He then went to the cross willingly to pay the debt we could never pay. G-d loves us so much, that He came personally as His Son, to live as an example, then to pay our debt so that we could be with Him forever if we believe. THAT is dedication and that is the level of His love for us. We can’t go wrong following the One who loves us that much.

Let us live with such conviction in our lives that people see the Love and Dedication of our L-RD through our walk. That is what Jesus died for. He paid our debt and gave us inheritance with His blood. It cost Him His Life. Through His Resurrection we have the power to overcome sin and temptation.

Walk in His Love and Dedication. Walk in His Freedom. He loves you.

Our Lot

“The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the L-RD.”

— Proverbs 16:33

The things that are out of our control is our lot. Sometimes we are blind-sighted with it being dropped into our lap. We have to remember that it is from the L-RD. That does not mean that G-d purposes for bad things to happen. What this means is that the L-RD has permitted a thing to take place in order to refine us, to perfect us. It means that there is something in our life that must be either removed or worked out. This lot is purposed for that very thing. It is not going to be easy, and it may even be down right difficult, even to seeming impossible. However, we must remember to trust in the L-RD with all of our heart and not lean on our own understanding, but in all of our ways acknowledge Him.

We must ask ourselves, “What am I to learn from this Papa, where do I need to change, what needs to be removed from my life?” For it is with a Father’s Love that He permits lots in our life. It is to make us a better person. It is to make us more like Him.

Our Father Knows Best

We do not always understand the path G-d takes us through, but we must trust in Him.

Read: Proverbs 20:24.

To Speak One’s Mind

What is our motive when we speak?
“A fool does not delight in understanding,
But only in revealing his own mind.” (Proverbs 18:2 NASB)
