By definition, no. We may perceive something He does as impulse, but He never acts on impulse. With Him, everything is planned and premeditated.
It is important that we first understand one truth.
“For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”– Malachi 3:6 NKJV
G-d does not change, at all. Therefore, I stand with Israel.
“…when you turn to the LORD your God and obey His voice (for the LORD your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.— Deuteronomy 4:30b–31 NKJV

When I read the first part of this verse “An excellent wife is the crown of her husband”, I think of my wife. From the day we met, she has been a blessing to me. While I am sometimes absent from the awareness of this, she continues to be my crown.
