“The foolishness of a man twists his way, and his heart frets against the Lord.”
— Proverbs 19:3
Sometimes in our foolishness, our foolish thinking, we twist things around to make something “work” and in turn it becomes an attempt to justify our decision or action ( 2 Samuel 11 :1 – 12:14 – David’s offense to Uriah by taking his wife, Bathsheba). All along we have actually made the situation worse.
Our situation may not be as extreme as what David did, but the base of what he did, at the core of it, was to make something look good when in reality it was bad from the beginning.
Because of our decision to twist our way, we have chosen to go against the L-RD and while we may not be aware of it at the time, our heart frets against the L-RD. We are constantly anxious and worried.
What we ought to do, what we need to do, is be up front and honest. We need to be people of integrity and of honorable character and admit openly when we were wrong in a decision and deal with what comes after that. If we don’t, we prolong the matter and the weight of the consequences increases.
“The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the L-RD.”
— Proverbs 16:33
The things that are out of our control is our lot. Sometimes we are blind-sighted with it being dropped into our lap. We have to remember that it is from the L-RD. That does not mean that G-d purposes for bad things to happen. What this means is that the L-RD has permitted a thing to take place in order to refine us, to perfect us. It means that there is something in our life that must be either removed or worked out. This lot is purposed for that very thing. It is not going to be easy, and it may even be down right difficult, even to seeming impossible. However, we must remember to trust in the L-RD with all of our heart and not lean on our own understanding, but in all of our ways acknowledge Him.
We must ask ourselves, “What am I to learn from this Papa, where do I need to change, what needs to be removed from my life?” For it is with a Father’s Love that He permits lots in our life. It is to make us a better person. It is to make us more like Him.
To say that you have the right to make that choice is to say that you are equal to G-d. That is the very thing that Satan (i.e., Lucifer) was cast out of G-d’s Presence for (Ezekiel 28:11-19, Isaiah 14:12-15). He desired to be equal to G-d.
THANK YOU to all the women who have the courage to stand and not make this choice, but to leave the circumstance in G-d’s Hands, for He truly knows best. It is not easy to leave it in His Hands for we often do not know the outcome. However, through His guidance, He will see you through it and you will reap the blessings.
For those that have decided to make the choice to take a life, G-D STILL LOVES YOU! Today is the day of salvation, meaning do not wait for tomorrow (Deuteronomy 30:19-20; 2 Corinthians 6:2). Cease the moment. Come to Jesus and He will restore you unto His Righteousness. The key is to repent and give glory to G-d for who He is and for His Love for you. He can and will heal your heart from this tragedy. All you have to do is come to Him.
Finally, thank you mom for making the hard choice of life when you were confronted with an ultimatum. Love you.
“The Christian worker must never forget that salvation is G-d’s thought, not man’s… Every element of self-reliance must be slain by the power of G-d…”
